FAQ

  • What is Three-Point Therapy?

Three-Point Therapy is our signature acupuncture treatment that combines acupuncture with complementary modalities to support deeper healing, faster recovery, and overall balance.

  • What conditions can acupuncture help with?

Acupuncture can support a wide range of conditions, including stress, anxiety, migraines, digestive issues, sleep disturbances, chronic pain, hormonal imbalances, and overall immune health.

  • What can I expect during my first acupuncture session?

Your first visit includes a detailed consultation where we review your health history and goals. You’ll then receive a personalized acupuncture treatment. Sessions are designed to be relaxing, restorative, and tailored to your specific needs.

  • How many sessions will I need?

Every person responds differently. Some clients feel improvement after just one session, while others benefit from a series of treatments over several weeks to address chronic conditions. We’ll work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your goals.

  • What is somatic Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy?

Somatic IFS integrates body awareness with IFS techniques to help you connect with and heal inner parts of yourself. This approach supports emotional resilience, trauma recovery, and mind-body integration.

  • How should I prepare for an appointment?

Eat a light meal beforehand, wear comfortable clothing (does not need to be removed for treatment), and arrive a few minutes early to relax. Try to avoid caffeine or alcohol before your session

  • Do treatments hurt?

Acupuncture needles are very fine — much thinner than standard needles. Most clients describe the sensation as minimal, often experiencing deep relaxation or gentle tingling rather than pain.

  • Do you accept insurance?

We do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide you with a Superbill after your session, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend checking with your provider to see if your policy includes acupuncture or related services.

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

Text or call to set up a consultation/first appointment.
